Scripted Series Lab Update

The Scripted Series Lab is currently paused for reflection and re-evaluation and will not be running in 2027.

This will not affect our other programs such as the Vancouver Scripted Summit, Develop BC, Story Department Internships, Guest Speaker events, and more, all of which will continue as in previous years, in pursuit of our vision of a vibrant and sustainable screenwriting community in BC

At the PSP, we pride ourselves in being industry-driven, and in light of the current industry landscape, this is the right but difficult choice for now.

Instead, the PSP will turn its attention to screenwriter training and capacity-building that addresses other areas in the industry, ones where we see a pressing need, which build on our work to date, and which position BC as a strong hub for domestic production.

We look forward to relaunching the Scripted Series Lab in future.
