Over the past 6 years, the Vancouver Scripted Summit has become a key domestic industry event in BC, gaining attention nationally. It is presented by the PSP in collaboration with the CMPA BC Producers Branch. Anchoring the event is a pitch showcase from the graduating cohort of the PSP’s Scripted Series Lab. The Summit doubles as their launch into the wider film and television industry.

By convening the core audience of established and emerging producers and screenwriters, the Vancouver Scripted Summit facilitates introductions and fosters relationships between these groups with a view to stimulating the production of domestic scripted content. In addition, the Summit provides screenwriters and producers with access to buyers and executives in roundtable sessions and private meetings, plus opportunities to build relationships with funders, agents, and other industry stakeholders.
