The PSP is pleased to welcome Emma Bishop, who has now joined PSP as our part-time Program Manager for the year. With career experience in both Vancouver and Toronto, Emma brings a background in program management, the broadcasting world, and supporting the development of screenwriters. Welcome Emma!

Emma Bishop Biography

Emma is a producer and arts programmer with a passion for supporting emerging screen-based talent. She has worked with the Toronto International Film Festival and the CBC across creative development, scripted content, acquisitions, and industry programming, giving her experience managing productions from development through to marketplace. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with filmmakers, producers, and creative teams to develop projects, deliver industry initiatives, and create opportunities for Canadian storytellers. Emma’s experience spans film and television development and production, festival programming, casting, live events, and partnership management, combining thoughtful organization with a creative-first approach. She is particularly interested in fostering creative communities and helping artists navigate the screen industry at every stage of their careers.
