Meet your match!

The PSP is hosting an online producer-writer matchmaking event designed to connect professional screenwriters and producers in BC who want to develop short form series in the near future.

Space is limited for this pilot event and selection for this initiative is at the discretion of the PSP.

Applications will be accepted between 9am October 29 and 4pm on November 20 and those selected for participation will be notified by November 27.

Eligibility

▸ Producers

Producers must meet the application criteria of the IPF short form development program and:

  • Be actively seeking to connect with writers to develop short-form episodic narrative content
  • Be a BC resident
  • Have at least one credit as a producer on produced and broadcast/screened episodic (short or long) or film (short or long) projects.

Please note that we are looking for eligible producers with a range of levels of experience.

Preference may be given to producer applicants who have experience with scripted content and/or with projects that have received public screening via recognised/curated festivals, networks or VOD platforms.

At present, application is by invitation.

  • a short paragraph describing the projects you are looking for

Selection

The selection of participants is at the discretion of the PSP, with the goal of bringing together writers and producers with the potential to generate viable connections and short form series projects.

Selected participants will be notified by November 27th.
