Michael Konyves

Michael Konyves is the creator/showrunner/executive producer of the series Wild Cards currently in production on Season 2 for CBC and the CW. He was the creator/showrunner of the Montreal-set Netflix/CityTV crime series Bad Blood starring Kim Coates, Anthony Lapaglia, and Paul Sorvino, for which he won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Writing in a Drama Series. He also wrote the feature film Barney’s Version starring Paul Giamatti, Rosamund Pike, and Dustin Hoffman, which earned him the WGC award for Best Screenplay and the film also garnered various awards at international film festivals including a Golden Globe award for Best Actor. He also wrote the feature film The Last Knights starring Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman and was a Supervising Producer on Law & Order: Organized Crime for NBC/Universal. He has developed series for CBC, Bell Media, Corus, Rogers, Showtime, Hulu, CBS, FOX, Sony, and Netflix among others.

Jennica Harper

Jennica is a TV writer, producer, and showrunner. She served as Co-Showrunner for Season 3 of CBC’s Run the Burbs, starring Andrew Phung. Before that, she was Showrunner and Co-creator of the award-winning comedy series JANN (CTV/Hulu) starring Jann Arden, which ran for three seasons and a holiday special. Jennica also works in drama, having written for SkyMedThe Spencer Sisters, Motive, and Cardinal, among othersand she’s currently in the season 2 development room for Murder in a Small Town. Jennica has won two WGC Awards for best script: one for the kids’ comedy Some Assembly Required, the other for the pilot script of JANN. In 2023, Jennica was the Showrunner in Residence for the PSP’s Scripted Series Lab.
